Overview

ACS is looking for a high school youth apprentice to work in the role of electrical control panel builder. The apprentice will be signed a mentor for on-the-job learning. This position in our manufacturing facility in Verona, WI and is a daytime shift Monday - Friday.

 

The apprentice is responsible for the physical assembly and wiring of control panels.  They are to ensure timely production of assigned work related to assembly of products and other final details performed before the product is shipped to the customer.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Use drawings or sketches to build electrical equipment
  • Perform electrical cabinet construction including mounting and wiring components
  • Working under the supervision of the project engineers, design, set-up and perform systems functionality tests on equipment in the shop and at customer sites

 

Qualification:

  • Be dependable and detail oriented
  • Proficiency using hand and power tools in a safe manner
